Tallangatta Health Service is a rural township located approximately 40 kilometres from the regional centre of Albury-Wodonga in North East Victoria, nearby to the snowfields, located on the shores of Lake Hume in the North East of Victoria, surrounded by snow fields, food and wine districts located within the region.
We are a 66 bed small rural public health service providing a mix of acute, sub-acute, aged care residential, and community services to Tallangatta and the surrounding district. We pride ourselves on being a customer focused progressive provider of care to our community, patients and residents with a multidisciplinary focus.

Cleaner and Food Service Assistant – Hotel Services
Cleaner and Food Service Assistant – Hotel Services
As a Cleaner and Food Service Assistant you will work as part of our Environmental Services team to maintain the cleanliness of facilities and assist with resident food services.
When rostered as a cleaner you will ensure cleanliness is maintained throughout our facility by undertaking general cleaning duties within the residential Aged Care rooms, common areas and offices. This role will also include laundry tasks such as washing, drying and ironing.
When rostered as a Food Service Assistant, you will assist with the delivery, preparation and heating of meals according to individual resident’s dietary requirements and preferences.
The successful applicant will be willing to work across both cleaning and food services roles and responsibilities.
These roles work on a seven-day roster from Monday to Sunday. There are day and afternoon shift with the hours of work between 7:00 am and 8:00 pm. These part time opportunities are up to 32 hours per week.

Registered / Endorsed Enrolled Nurse - Aged Care/Acute & District Nursing
Opportunities exist for passionate Registered Nurses and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to work in our Acute Ward/Residential Aged Care facility, as well as RNs for District Nursing.
These roles will provide you the opportunity to enhance your clinical and care skills in a rural health setting and develop leadership skills within a supportive, multidisciplinary team environment.
We have permanent part time and casual opportunities available.

Health Care Worker – Community
We are seeking applications from passionate and suitably qualified Health Care Workers.
This rewarding role will see you providing support to our home care consumers, assisting them to remain living independently in their own homes through tasks such as domestic assistance, personal care and other social or individual support the consumer may require. Company vehicles are provided for use to attend our consumers’ homes.
This diverse role can also see you providing high-quality care with a consumer-focused approach to our Residential Aged Care consumers.
